Strawberry Thought you might like the latest pics of the kids. Sadie has fit in great. They all have a blast. Gary & Sharon
Ford It's been over a year, but I wanted to thank you for working so quickly with us last September, '09 to adopt the Landseer mix, Ford (now called Ranger). With his gentle nature, Ranger eased right into our family. He even befriended our finicky cat. He is the sweetest dog, and well loved by all of us. We so appreciate your heart for animals, and large dogs in particular. Best wishes, Rachel and Ram Lee
Cole Just wanted to give you and update on Cole- He is doing great and such a joy to have in our home!! We decided that since he looks like a 'Lump of Coal' to keep the name Cole. Cole weighed in yesterday at 29lbs and is growing fast! I believe he is enjoying his new home. He is making lots of friends that are old and young. He has met a Great Dane, Bernese Mountain Dog, a mixed Hound, a mixed Jack Russell and a mixed Terrier puppy. We also took him to SPCA fundraiser where he sat on Santa's lap and met more dogs. Cole and us are starting puppy training this coming week though he knows his name, sit and takes treats gently but has lots more to learn! Glad to see that his sisters have found new homes but sad to see that mom is still up for adoptions.
Sage Sage is as good as a dog can be! She has settled into life in the suburbs, complete with frequent trips to our local dog parks. She spends most of her time with her little brother, Sobee, who sometimes goads her into romping around our yard with him -- even at the age of eight, this girl can run like a puppy. Her favorite word is "treats" -- it's her version of the "come" command. She loves nothing more than a soft bed, a delicious bone to chew, and a brushing or tummy rub to lull her to sleep.
Shep Zeus This is Zeus, who is now Chase. As you can see he is absolutely gorgeous and what a pleasure to be around. Yes, he's a handful, but very smart and loves to please. We go to school every Tuesday for five weeks. Last Tues. he got bored, quickly, but I'm sure he will become more challenged in the next weeks. Either way, it's good for him to be around other people and dogs. We are so grateful to you for taking him in, otherwise we would not have this great dog.
