Capone

Here are some photos of Capone. This is at the Human Society Walk at HACC in May. He met his girlfriend Sierra. He was a very well behaved gentlemen. Capone is doing really really well. He turned out to be my daughter's friend. She takes him to bed with her and all. Capone is a very sleepy puppy.

Roo

Roo loves her new Grandma and Pop Pop. She gets so excited when we say we’re going to see them in the morning. When we don’t go to my parents’ house we tend to spend a good chunk of the day at the dog park. She’s got a lot of friends there but her best friend there is a poodle named Tippy. They love chasing each other around. The funny thing is that Roo is like the doggie momma there. When dogs start getting into it with each other, she runs up and barks at them until they stop. She really doesn’t like to see fighting. Roo also did her first 5K a couple of weeks ago. We’ve been working up to it since she got here. She really likes to run if someone will run with her. She’s even pretty good at drinking out of a water bottle on the go now. At the end of the 5K she still had lots of energy, so now we’re training her for a 10K.

Penny Girl

Penny Girl is now named Brownie and she gets along with her new name just fine. Brownie is a very obedient and loving pet. While she is rendered useless during thunderstorms, I have found that she handles them better when she is in her new storm shirt that I bought at PetSmart. During the day and nights (without storms) she is is the best dog ever. I am very glad that we have found each other as she is great company.

Icabod

We adopted Junior about 11 months ago. The idea was to get a smaller, lap-type of dog who would learn from the 2 older dogs we currently have. Based on his mother who weighed about 20 pounds, we figured Junior would fit the bill perfectly. What we didn't take into account was Junior's father who was unknown. From day one Junior's appetite was more along the lines of a Great Dane than a Cocker Spaniel. However, my wife insisted on raising him as a lap dog - so here we are - with a 40 to 50 pound dog who insists he is indeed a lap dog.

Meet Miss Myley!

We adopted Miley the Mastiff and we love her dearly. Her name is now Dolly—named after my mother who passed away this year.
