Meet Indie, a true survivor! She was surrendered to animal control in order for the 'owner' to avoid charges of abuse and neglect. She is 5 months old and weighed only 14.3 lbs when she arrived in rescue. At only a week later she is a whopping 22.4 lbs. We did include a picture of the starved father dog of Indie so you have an idea of what she has been through and what she will look like. She is still small for her size but is making wonderful progress in her foster home. She is a Great Dane/Mastiff mix and should grow into a large wonderful pet with love, food and obedience training! Her adoption fee is $325 and we will return $300 of that upon proof of spay. The reason for this is we feel she should be allowed to grow more before putting her through the surgery and recovery. Puppy will be adopted out on a 'foster to adopt' basis. This means that if/when your application is approved, you sign a contract stating you are fostering the puppy until the time it is neutered/spayed at your expense. Once this is done, and you have shown us proof of spay/neuter, we will send you a contract that makes the puppy legally yours.
