Amber is a glorious example of a pure bred mastiff. She is the mother of Annabelle, also listed on our site. Their owner was their worst enemy, telling everyone he didn't want them any more and that he was just going to shoot them. What a terrible waste! They are sweet, non-aggressive but fearful, having an owner like that.  Amber is more trusting of the two and both are learning to walk on a leash. Annabelle really looks to her mom for confidence and to know what to do. She is low heartworm positive and being treated with monthly preventatives which is much easier on the dog than the aggressive Immiticide method. She will be fine and have a clean bill of health when kept on the heartworm preventative. With some time and patience they will be the sweet wonderful dogs they were meant to be.
