Description:
GOMER IS LOCATED IN CHAMBERSBURG PA. Gomer is the definition of a gentle giant - this guy is a total lover. Likes: Music, treats, being brushed, face scratches, head rubs, butt scratches, chewing bones, and tennis balls. Dislikes: Crates - he will go in there, but does it very begrudgingly. Personality: He's laid back; stoic with a goofy streak; total ladies man, but also down to chill with the dudes.
Temperament: Awesome temperament - he takes meds with no issues and you can clean his ears and touch his paws with no issues being handled.
Energy level: If he had his way he’d lay on the couch all day, but he loves getting outside for walks. Favorite activities: Chewing ice, chewing bones, walks, playing with tennis balls, and chewing up baby toys.
Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over6)?: Yes, he's good with them all! Not good with: Crates
Housetrained: Yes, understands “Go Potty” but will not be proactive to let you know he needs to go out. Crate trained: He’s familiar with them and will use them, but does not prefer them.
Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Physical fence required - he is deceptively fast when he wants to be. He has the most beautiful puppy bounce when he runs! Walks well on a leash? Yes! Challenges: Think of the strongest Velcro you’ve ever used-he sticks to your side as strong as that velcro ever worked-definitely needs a little work on personal space bubbles. Any Medical issues? None that we are aware of. What would be the best kind of home? Home should be a calm atmosphere with a fenced yard. He does very well in a pack environment and needs another pet in the home. Kids would be great too!
