Zeus is a four year old laid back gentle giant. He sleeps through the night either on his love seat or inside his crate. I have not closed his crate door, but don't think he'd mind if it was closed. He's just a very easy, chill kind of guy. He lives with two female dogs with no problem. He also did very well with all the dogs at the vet. His prior owner states that he's good with all pets and is kid and people friendly. He wags his tail constantly when he sees people. He loves everyone. Zeus was an outside dog at his former house and was said to not be house trained.He hasn't had any potty accidents at my home. He is taken out every 3-4 hours during the day & praised for doing his business outside. Zeus came to MTM from Virginia Beach with an ear infection in both ears. His foster has has no problem cleaning his ears or putting eye drops in his eye. His behavior is fantastic and allows the vet to exam, trim nails easily. Bath time is easy too. Zeus has a gentle approach, his tail will whip the walls or anything close to him. He enjoys walking around the yard and listens when called. Leash manners need some work. Not bad, but he's a strong guy. Prey drive is non existent so far, squirrels can run and he doesn't chase after them. He eats dry dog food and has no resource guarding. You can take food or a bone from him. Zeus is really just a great dog and loves everyone he meets. His strong tail may be a bit much for a small child, but he's gentle enough to be with older children. He hasn't jumped up or been invasive when meeting anyone. He knows the "sit command" & how to shake. His paw may hit you in the face, be careful! Lol Zeus: Good with dogs, cats and all people. Easy to handle. Rides well in the car. Eats dry dog food. Crate trained. Potty trained

Our rescue policy requires the following:
Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina.
Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner.
Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption.
Homes with children should have a fenced yard.
Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Veterinary records will be checked.
All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home.
All family members must be present during the home visit to the applicant's home.
Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being considered, before any adoption can be completed.
