My name is Gracie.  I am a 4 year old English Mastiff.  Currently, I live with a single woman who is becoming a missionary and will no longer be able to take care of me.  We also have a male 15 year old Yorkie Poo who has been a wonderful older brother.  I have many important jobs that I really enjoy such as protecting my family by alerting them to possible dangers, assisting in all forms of house and yard work, snuggling on command, and making sure that no food is left uneaten.  I am rewarded for all this hard work by going out on car rides to the park for walks, being allowed to sleep on the couch or the bed, and play time with one of my favorite toys.  Playtime is great but downtime is also important.  I don’t mind taking a nice nap while my owner is working on the computer or watching television. I am cautious when first meeting people but warm up quickly and I love just about anyone who will pet me.  I don’t have much experience being around children but I do enjoy watching them play on the playground outside my yard. I also love the teenagers and other dogs in my extended family. I am so excited when they come over to play.



Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. *Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with children should have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for, before any adoption can be completed.
