An amazing mix of bulldog and dalmation, Kane got the best of both worlds. He's strong and sturdy from mom, and has that wonderful spotted coat from dad. Put together, he is a unique dog. Where he got those gorgeous green eyes, we have no idea, but they certainly make him one of a kind. This poor guy has had an awful start to life for such a friendly dog. He was desperately neglected, tied outside and never let off a rope to run and play, he was also nearly starved. You can see from some of the pictures how thin he still looks, and that is after he started having regular meals in rescue! He gets the sweetest expressions on his face and would so love to look up into your face with love and devotion. He had been living with another dog, who was actually in worse shape than our Kane, so we know he gets along with other dogs. He would very much enjoy going for walks with you and curling up at your feet in the evening, maybe even putting his head across your feet. He's a super foot warmer! He is hoping that you will be the one to come for him and show him, really for the first time, what the world looks like when life is good, your tummy is full, and someone loves you. He is so young, not even a year old yet, that he has his whole life in front of him. He would love to live it with you.  

Adoption Donations: Please know that 100% of our funds are used for vetting the dogs. Our rescue policy requires the following: *All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permintted at the foster home. *A visit to the applicant's home when all members are present. *Homes with small children must have a fenced yard. *Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being applied for before any adoption can be completed.
