Gremlin was rescued from a puppy mill in the southern states. She came to Mastiffs to Mutts with a couple other dogs. The puppy mill crossed bull dogs with pit bulls in the attempt to create a "tiny pit". This has made her very small, but very stocky. She is around a foot tall to the top of her shoulders, but weights 31lbs. Her being almost 8 months old means that she should not get much larger, if she grows at all.
Gremlin is a very high energy dog. She is young and loves people and other dogs. She currently lives with a 140lb dane, and frequently visits a 130lb and 170lb dane, so she is very used to LARGE dogs. She has not been around small dogs since she joined Mastiffs to Mutts, but we feel that she would not have a problem living with a small dog. She should NOT go with cats, she is very known for chasing them. She has never hurt her foster home's cat but would do best with someone that doesnt have a cat.
Gremlin is extremely playful, absolute sweetheart and enjoys her humans. She is semi house broken, she has only been in a foster home a few weeks so it is still a work in progress. When Gremlin arrived she had demodectic mange, she has since been treated and her skin/hair looks great! She is current on her shots, spayed and current on heartworm/flea tick preventative until November.
She loves spending her time playing with toys, stuffies are her favorite thing to shread. She is able to be crated, and she also eats in her crate. Her foster home has taugh her sit, and stay (although she only tends to listen if a treat is in their hand). She loves to be held, and loves being craddled like a baby and falls right asleep. She is waiting for the perfect family to love her like she loves her humans. She is currently being fostered in Williamsport, PA.
